The bridge is Grade 1 listed and is one of the seven working Transporter bridges in the world and an unique tourist attraction in Newport city. Built in 1906, the bridge is already more than a century old. A gondola carries the people and cars to cross the river as as it is designed so that the ships can pass under at any tidal changes. Visitors can climb up the towers and walk across the upper deck. The painting is view from the other side of river Usk looking towards Newport. Painted on box canvas and sides are painted white. Thanks for watching.
