This summer I spent many days down in West Penwith walking the coastal paths between the small villages and coves in this beautiful part of Cornwall. This painting was inspired by one of those walks. I wanted to catch something of the wildness of the scene; the only sign of human intervention here was the grassy path leading to the beach where people had walked between the banks of wildflowers all spring and summer.
This is acrylic and mixed media (for a little texture) on board, varnished and comes framed in a rustic white-painted wooden frame. Strung on the back and ready to hang.
Framed measurements are 55cm x 45cm x 2cm.
I've signed the back and it will come with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front and I'll be happy to do so.
W 55.00 cm x H 45.00 cm
