“Through the Fire” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 80 x 80cm (31.5 x 31.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted thinking about the sunset on the sea in Hastings on a wild and balmy evening. The title is from the song “Sunshine’s Better” by John Martyn It's painted in black, pink, orange and yellow oil and acrylic paint. The paint is layered and blended and has a slight glossy sheen. The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
