A modern interpretation of the Three Wise Monkeys - See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil. This work comments on the attitudes of many to the internet and their denial of any unsavoury or evil behaviours taking place via this wonder of the modern world. Anonymity and lack of direct consequences make it easier than ever to bully, torment and abuse others.

Comments by the judges of a national annual art competition on this work:

"Drew my attention as emojies are now such a familiar sight, but they have been simply, but clearly edited here. The emojies themselves are drawn really crisply and jump out of the page which contrasts really neatly with the background, took me a moment to notice the newsprint underneath but then felt really interested in it. I like the contrast of the modern emojies with the old idea of the three wise monkeys".
