This work takes the viewer on a journey, presented in a glass bell dome we follow little people on a path through a wilderness which contains giant butterflies and puzzling twists and turns. The artwork uses wood, clay sponge miniatures and butterflies. The aim is to present the butterflies in what appears to be the classical manner as a curiosity much as the Victorians did... but then as you look closer you discover that in fact this is a contemporary curiosity which has many hidden and surprising gems to reward and encourage the viewer to study the sculpture in greater detail. The work is unique and will be delivered professionally, along with certificate of authenticity.
