Along a country lane there is a gate. What lies beyond the gate? with only grasses, flowers and trees to see, with buzz of bees and blue sky overhead? Along that grassy track, somewhere, accross a stone bridge that crosses the stream...that is where, you will see the cottage, still partly hidden away amongst the swaying of glorious leaves. A pretty stone cottage, with window facing out towards you, looking out in welcoming gratitude that you have found this place.

'The hidden cottage' comes unframed. It would look great mounted and framed behind glass It is a small but very intricate, scraperfoil. Scraperfoil is made of a foil coved board, which has been coated with black ink. The image is created by scraping the surface ink away, revealing the silver. The foil does have a very pleasent sheen to it.
