The hand of the artist is to emphasize the validity of digital art. Just as artists in previous times struggled to get recognition for Cubism, Surrealism, Pointillism, geometric abstraction and many other forms, so it is today for digital media. I have great skills as a traditional painter but now choose my new pallette to be digital with all the exceptional skills required. My hand painted art is available to view within the gallery it may be noted. It is a common misconception that somehow the computer does it all. This is not correct and the technology should be viewed as an extension of the brush and pallette. The hand and mind of the artist is always the most important thing!
