The Adventuress is tropical underwater seascape of an orange damsel fish in a turquoise ocean. It is 40x40x1.5 inches. The damsel fish, a juvenile, is orange with blue spots - irresistible to paint. She is in the centre of her large world which adds to the idea of space that the painting gives. Above her you can see the ripples and sparkles of the surface of the water where the waves catch the sunlight. Below her you can see the patterns that the light makes on the sandy seabed. The damsel fish is intent on a purpose that only she knows. She a free spirit. I have painted many of these underwater seascapes as I have very fond memories of snorkelling in Tropical seas and because I find them very therapeutic to paint and to look at afterwards. Dedicated to everyone who is working to clean up the seas and preserve the wildlife and reefs. It is on deep edges canvas, white edges, ready to hang, no frame needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So45PpUqLyI
