Sunflower fields in France
This view caught my eye as the fields of sunflowers seemed to go on forever. I made a hasty sketch as I was knee deep in the sunflowers and the farmer was keeping a beady eye on me. I then took some photos to help me finish the art work in the studio. I never tire of drawing and painting sunflowers in all different shapes and sizes. I am inspired by Van Gogh and it never ceases to amaze me his versatile portrayal of sunflowers. I hope I have come a little way towards that. This art work is framed with a gold frame and is ready to hang
