I painted this Oil painting from photos I took while on holiday in Scotland.
The sheer wildness of Scotland, untainted by man-made structures, the clarity of the colors due to recent rains inspired me to depict these rolling mountains in oils. The bright light of summer is unique to the Highlands due to the intensity of green of the thick forest trees

The 100% pure cotton stretched canvas has been gesso primed and the painting lightly varnished with Winsor & Newton Picture Varnish.
The sides are painted blue and the work can be hung unframed. Picture hanging fittings are in place.
