Space Junk

10 monthly payments of £165.00 0% APR
Continuing the recent science fiction theme in Paula's latest work, 'Space Junk', a glow-in-the-dark Large format deep edge and very textured canvas depicts our Earth in orbit, the circumference of which has been taken over by satellite dishes, observatories and pylons in the artists unique and individual style. The rivet covered moon made from sheet aluminium, matches the composition of the structures on the globe like Earth. A lone silver textured flying saucer with pearlescent glass window, and glittery tail, twists through the vacuum of space just above the Hubble telescope, which has been created using real solar panels that catch the light and glow iridescent turquoise blue. The rest of space peppered with stars and 'junk', cogs, nuts and sheet metal. This piece has been created with a layer of invisible glow-in-the-dark pigment paint on the surface - when you turn out the lights you will see a very realistic interpretation of our Milkyway glowing in subtle greens, lilacs and blu
