A semi-abstract impression of bold beautiful poppies under a blue summer sky. I've used acrylic paint in a bright pattern of circles or shapes within shapes. The rings of colour give the artwork a wonderful illusion of pulsating energy. Everything about this piece shouts summer in all its glory. The deep edges of the canvas have been painted black so a frame is purely optional. Two coats pf gloss varnish enhance and protect this fabulously stimulating painting.
