This is an A2 Giclee print of an original painting of mine called Rose De Seitas (named after a character in The Magus by John Fowles) this was a painting made in the Spring of 2012. If I remember correctly it was the last one made before the Hester Paintings began. This was an absolute pivotal painting in my development and has informed all the work done up until now. I shall be revisiting this in a new light very soon! The original painting has now been sold but I'm making 50 of these prints available. Once they're gone there will be no more! Each print is signed and numbered by me and will be supplied with a letter of authenticity. Each print measures approximately 594 x 420 mm (23.4" x 16.5") and is unmounted and unframed.
W 23.40" x H 16.50"
W 59.44 cm x H 41.91 cm
Ink
prints are produced using an Epson 7890 with archival Ultrachrome inks on Hahnemuehle German Etching, a heavyweight (310gsm) fine art paper which is slightly textured.

About the Artist

I never have a clear idea of what a finished painting is going to look like. They evolve organically during their creation. My inspiration comes from the Kent countryside and childhood holidays spent in Cornwall. I’m very interested in narratives that are intrinsically linked to the countryside s...
