History has shown us how Africa a beautiful continent rich in natural resources has been plundered by the west. This plunder fuelled by racism and greed has left the people of Africa poor.

“Roar” is an original oil painting painted in a realism style which looks to the future, a future where the children of Africa can enjoy the richness and wealth of their continent. I wanted to paint a child full of joy and pride sat on a wooden throne with a beautiful wooden crown by his side and the dollar, the symbol of foreign greed, crumpled on the floor next to a tiny stone that had been stuck in the shoe of the people of Africa for centuries.

This is a painting of hope.

"Roar" is an original oil painting painted with the finest quality oil paints, framed in a bespoke handcrafted frame and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
