River Loire at Angers, France. Cathedral and Boats
Painted from an on site sketch in Angers. This watercolour depicts the stretch of the River Loire across from Angers Cathedral and Chateau. The small harbour in the foreground is full of both leisure and working boats. I loved the skyline with the shiloette of the Cathedral, and the boats (and roses!) were a big plus. The white tents by the harbour were put up for some sort of festival, but not finished yet.
