Red River Shore

'Red River Shore' is a small but highly detailed, original watercolour painting on heavyweight Fabriano Artistico paper. It depicts a brightly coloured kingfisher perched among brambles, branches and leaves. I've taken full advantage of the vibrancy of my Daniel Smith paints and the unusual texture of this paper adds a subtle, extra effect to the finished art work. This striking little painting of everyone's favourite British bird took many hours to complete but worth every minute in my opinion. Measuring approximately 14 x 8 inches, it is mounted in white and framed in a distressed silver gilt frame to a total size of about 21 x 15 inches, ready to hang. This artwork will be packed securely in cardboard and sent along with a certificate of authenticity.
