This beautiful artwork has been created by hand using a 3D printer pen and flexible TPU filament. Drawing with a 3D pen is literally drawing with plastic.

I've used red filament for the drawing and strengthened the piece with clear filament which catches the light. Although the lace effect artwork looks very delicate, the filament is incredibly strong and durable.

It hangs beautifully from a wooden dowel which measures 62cm.

The artwork is extremely light in weight which makes it very easy to hang although it does require a plain, light coloured background.

I've photographed it on an off white wall and against a wardrobe to show how transparent it is.

My lace 3D pen drawings are a stylish and modern alternative to framed art or paintings on canvas.
