This cheeky squirrel is frozen in mid-step, hoping to avoid the attention of my terrier.
Squirrels are amazingly adaptable and tenacious..the evolution of their coat colour from black to grey and now back to black in pockets of the UK due to habitat change, plus their intelligence in seeking out food give me pause for thought also.
