'One Day In Grandma's Garden' is a beautiful romantic and very shabby chic original painting that is inspired by my great grandmother, who grew flowers and herbs to make remedies to cure minor illness, she was also the village midwife ! the only qualification needed in those olden days, was to have had a baby herself !! She knew her plants great Grandmamma She grew them all in lines Some to cure the colic Some to cure the mind The artwork comes in a vintage frame which has been given a new lease of life, painted in a matte pale lavender to compliment the colours in the painting. The flowers also contain a few pearls ( Sorry they are not real) The roses are textured. You just know it would look so vintage in the ladies chamber !! Materials used: Acrylic paint/mixed media glaze and pearls
