An impressionistic canvas based loosely upon scenes and memories of the Lake District but painted entirely from my imagination. I view The Lakes as my second home (I did my A levels at Windermere and i've lived in Kendal and Garsdale) and it never fails to inspire me, whether i'm actually visiting or re-visiting it in my imagination. Using sponges and brushes, most of my work is instinctive and I often use colour in a non-representational way. I use it more for impact/contrast or to get a feeling across to the viewer. I can assure you of a high standard of workmanship, materials and service if you do choose to purchase this or any other of my original artworks.
