'Mabon Wood Blackbird' abstract landscape. A blackbird is perched among rowan berries, one of his favourite foods. Rowan berries have a tiny five pointed star or pentagram on each berry opposite its stalk (the pentagram being an ancient protective symbol.) I have painted a stylised magick pentagram in black and gold on one of the red berries. Autumn colours: burnt orange, ochre, sienna, gold and copper. Mixed media, acrylic, oil, piece of copper metal and gold leaf flakes. Box canvas with painted sides, ready to hang without framing. Signed front & inverso. Certificate of Authenticity included. Fully tracked postage.
