"Joy After The Storm" is the first piece of abstract art created by Cristina Sanchez.
Even though sometimes we can go through hard times, there is joy after the storm.

This painting was started with splashes of rage, when the artist need it to let go of all of that rage because of the overwhelming circumstances that she was going through, she used this medium to relax.
The colors of the splashes are green dirt with pink, which inspire nausea, and unconformity. And pink, getting close to the red that evoque rage, but in this case a rage that doesn't harm others.
After the storm and when things are all calmed down, it was added the yellow with the orange undertone, bringing happiness to the sad piece, just as a rainbow brings the colors into the Grey sky after the rain.
