A quirky painting of a couple who have little to say to one another. I must have been singing "It's so funny how we don't talk anymore" by Cliff Richard when I started painting this and then decided to stick some of the words of the song onto the canvas. On the left curtain are the words "I used to think that life was sweet" which is what the woman is thinking and on the righthand curtains are the words "It's so funny how we don't talk anymore" which is what the man is thinking. The curtains are made of stuck on pieces of wrapping paper and varnished and there are buttons and embroidery on the canvas.
