In my childhood living near the docks on the River Thames in London certain memories always remain. One is the advertising that appeared on hoardings and walls on the side of buildings, some that you can still see today. I always remembered the Guinness smiling face and decided to do a painting of it. I combined it with the memory of Monday when it was washing day, and guess what? It always rained. At some point in the future I want to paint the Bisto Kids. The Guinness ad must have had a profound effect as it led to my future in the Advertising Industry.
