Using only a 2B graphite lead this is a study in textures - bricks, mortar, foliage, wood, metal, rust, stone, fur. It took many hours to complete working from the darkest darks thru' all the mid-tones to the lightest lights. I was guided and encouraged by Mike Sibley. Thanks, Mike, couldn't have done it without you!

This piece of artwork has been accepted for the Royal Society of British Artists annual 2020 exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London, February 20 - 29.
