----- ORIGINAL ARTWORK ------ Original pastel artwork signed by the artist. With heart-shaped face, buff back and wings and pure white underparts, the barn owl is a distinctive and much loved countryside bird. I love animals and living in the Norfolk countryside I see lots of barn owls across the fields near where I live and when out walking my dogs. Barn owls are so beautiful with their inquisitive faces and soft creamy white feathers...just lovely! This cheeky chap has been lovingly created using soft pastels and pastel pencils on blue 160g/m2 pastel paper. Finished artwork is double mounted and framed in a black painted wood frame with glass front and measures 24.5cm x 20cm. Overall size including frame measure 32.5cm x 27.5cm.
