Strong colours, organic flow and conflicting shapes - a testament to the confusing and challenging world we live in. This painting explores modern society expectations, materialism and how some seek comfort and direction in religion. The asymmetric black cross within its opulent gold setting reaches out to those who will listen. It has been painted on Two Rivers handmade watercolour paper using professional quality watercolours, acrylic ink and gold acrylic paint. It measures approximately 14" X 18" and has a 1" border on each side to allow for framing (16" X 20" including border). It is sold unmounted and unframed. This paper has a wonderful natural surface and deckled edge all round. We are a very environmentally conscious household, so wherever possible your parcel will be securely packaged with reused shipping and packing materials.
