This beautiful light sculpture has been created with a 3d pen using PLA plastic filament. I've used a transparent filament to create the sphere (same size as a basketball) leaving enough space at the top to reach in and arrange the LED fairy lights. The trees have been hand-drawn with black filament. The battery operated micro lights (5m) are on a bendable wire and there is a hole in the bottom and the base for the lead. The artwork looks magical at night with a multitude of stars twinkling through the branches. These pretty lights are inexpensive to purchase and come in a variety of colours (E-bay/Amazon). The warm white lights pictured are included in the sale with batteries installed. My photos also show how the trees continue all the way around the sphere.
