"I'll be your shelter in times of storm." A little white dog keeps dry as the larger dark brown dog stands over him under a silver rain cloud. This is a whimsical sculpture made of EVA (plastic/resin) and wire. From the top of the cloud to the base made from a pine wood log slice, the piece measures 27cm. The base is 14cm wide. Due to being totally handmade, each piece will always be slightly different although the dimensions will remain the same. Although this is a new design for me, I've been working with these materials since the early 90's and I still have an original piece which looks as good as new. Just don't leave in a hot car all day or it will melt! My wire and glue sculptures have found their way into a number of art galleries over the years including The Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

About the Artist

After working as an illustrator and textile designer I became a self employed artist in 1990. I had a regular stall at Granary Wharf and the Corn Exchange in Leeds, where I enjoyed great success selling my unique art. This was mostly sculpture made out of wire and EVA (plastic/resin).
