I wanted to swim was created using an acrylic monoprint technique whilst I spent 5 weeks in Torrox in Andalucia. It is created on 350 gsm watercolor paper using a perspex sheet as the positive print plate directly onto which acrylic paint is applied with palette knives. As I painted all the time I was considering that perhaps I should have gone for my normal morning swim. In the event that never came to pass and the story is reflected in this abstract.
