Holding the Lead

A one off watercolour painting of a horse racing scene. I have painted this in a loose way but trying to show the energy and movement of both the horse and riders. I love to paint action which is hard in watercolours but I like a challenge. I havn’t done any horseracing paintings for a while and felt the extreme urge to do so. I didn’t want much detail in the horses legs and think I achieved this, however you can virtually hear their hooves as they are thundering up. I have photographed it in a mount and frame to give you an indication of what it might look like, but it is sold unframed and unmounted. I sell my artwork globally and have received wonderful reviews from many satisfied customers, many of whom buy again.
