I have placed the famous Henley Regatta, at Henley-on-Thames, once again, in the Edwardian Era, The abundant countryside, poplar trees and the Church make a verdant background, to the busy scene unfolding on the River. The waterside marquees line the grass banks, everyone straining to watch, while from the many floating jetties, people are taking to small boats, to ply up and down, joining all the different craft on the water. Flags and Bunting, Balloons and a Brass Band or two, make up the High Summer atmosphere, which I set out to portray. A Print Run of only 100 This print is No: 2/100
