Inspired by the 8.5 metre high Hemlock Stone near Nottingham, which is an outcrop of two different sandstones dating back to the Triassic Period. Legend has it that the Devil threw the stone there from Castleton, Derbyshire, about 40 miles away, because the ringing of church bells annoyed him. size approx 70x60cms painted in January 2016. An original Acrylic painting on deep edge gallery wrapped canvas ready to hang without the need for a frame, It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Whilst I do my best to make the photo images as near as possible to the actual colours of the artwork they may be affected by computer settings. Delivery is by courier (signature required) So if there is a particular day that you would/would not like it delivered let me know. Otherwise it will be dispatched in 2-3 working days.
