'Hell For Leather' is a realistic, original, graphite pencil drawing on Strathmore 400 paper featuring a sprinting cheetah. The composition is a fairly simple one in a panoramic format, ensuring that the big cat is the focus of attention. I had fun creating the effect of movement with subtle blurring of some areas of the cheetah and adding a couple of spurts of dust, thrown up as he flies through the scene at full speed. Measuring approximately 22.5 x 12 inches, this drawing is presented in a white mount within a complimentary, 2cm square section, bright silver frame, to a total size of about 28.5 x 18 inches, ready to hang. It is signed on the front and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
