Some people have remarked that my paintings remind them of medieval miniatures. Inspired by this I have produced a miniature of my own. This painting measures approx. 3 by 2 inches - the size of a playing card - but is extremely detailed and painted using tiny sable brushes delineating the texture of fur on the hare. Like my other works this is executed in acrylics on an antiqued gold background with a gold-metal leaf sun to produce a rich decorative effect. The painting is mounted in a 5" by 7" frame in a complementary moulding and ready to hang
