Guardian of the Amazon
Semi-Abstract Mixed media painting “Guardian of the Amazon” by Galina Zimmatore. This painting is inspired by an adventure I had a few years ago in the Amazon Jungle, the home of the mighty and powerful predator, the Black Jaguar. There are many legends about this magnificent creature and it has been revered by some tribes as almost God like.
I have applied shades of green, yellow, and blue interspersed with sparkles of deep red to try and capture its dramatic presence . This painting represents for me the essence of this beautiful place.
This would be a great gift for any occasion or for someone who really appreciates Mother Nature in its raw glory especially the Amazon Jungle.
The transformation of the painting can be seen step by step on my youtube channel - GalinaZ_Artist
I have used Artist quality oil and acrylic paints on 90x90 cm. No need for framing. Final finished is with varnish for protection from UV sunlight and dust. Ideal for interior design for your home, business or as a personal gift.
