Meet handsome Obama the greyhound. He has been painted on an H16" x W12" deep edge canvas using Bristol paints and water colour pencils and marker pens and pastels, to give the piece a 3D quality the base is coated with gesso and the edges are painted white, the complete artwork is sealed with matt glaze. This lively greyhound is part of a new collection of artworks I'm currently involved with focusing on loosening up my painting style, I want to create art that not just shows a likeness of the subject but in itself is lively and gives a feel of movement, energy and character. This fun curious dog artwork would make a great unique gift for any greyhound lovers or art collectors and is ready to hang, it is initialled on the front and titled, signed and dated on the back.
