Emperor Goose Feathers is a black and white, wildlife fine art print mounted on aluminium Dibond. It depicts the beautifully patterned, black and white feathers of the rarely sighted Emperor Goose on Hampstead Heath, London. This finely detailed print demonstrates the delicate feathers of this bird as it sleeps with its white neck tucked into its chest.

This is a Limited Edition (1 of 5) piece of fine art measuring 90cm x 60cm (59x39inches), mounted on aluminium Dibond and ready to hang on the subframe built into the rear of the image. It would be ideal in an office or lounge location. Its sizing makes it suitable for hanging above a sofa, desk or in an entranceway.

As an artist, I am influenced and inspired by my mental health experiences. This is a summary of my thoughts regarding "Emperor Goose Feathers":
"When you see life in black and white, everything seems simple. Right. Wrong. But then emotions become involved and life becomes fuzzy, grey even, like the feathers of this Emperor Goose."  Bradley Taylor

Production Process:

  1. First, printed on Fuji DPII Gloss 250 silver paper and then covered by a gloss film that protects it from the external environment and UV rays.
  2. The print is then mounted onto a stainless and non-deformable Dibond © aluminium panel. Thin and light, this composite plate comprises two layers of aluminium around a resin core.
  3. A rectangular aluminium frame at the back of the print allows it to be offset 20 mm from the wall, in order to enhance the photograph and give the print stability.
  4. Your print on aluminium is delivered typically within two weeks, ready to hang and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
Emperor Goose Background Information:
The Emperor Goose is a species of goose native to North America and Russia. So, how does one come across this goose on Hampstead Heath? An excellent question! The Emperor Goose is kept in captivity within the UK at various sites and there are reports of escaped or released birds breeding in the wild in the South East of England. This bird would appear to be one such creature and was, therefore, a very lucky sighting earlier this year.
