Drawing of a Chilean horse ridden by a huaso, the Chilean equivalent of an Argentine guacho or American cowboy, competing at a rodeo. These are held most weekends in rural towns and competitors work in pairs, traiditonally employer and employee wearing matching short ponchos. These horses are compact, strong and agile. I was sitting up in the stands taking photos.
This artwork is sold mounted, unframed and with a Certificate of Authenticity.
