Eagle Owl

This original painting was inspired by a young Eagle Owl who was resting on his perch at a county fair. The photograph I used was him puffing out his feathers before settling down for a snooze. I found the old branch covered in ivy in my garden and brought it into my studio to paint. The composition is balanced by the addition of the little Scarlet Tiger Moth in the bottom left hand corner. The original painting is very large for such a detailed watercolour and took me three months to complete. This painting will be delivered double mounted and ready for framing. Carefully packaged and shipped with tracking information and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Your purchase will come securely packaged and double wrapped for safety in shipping. Being an environmentally conscious artist, all shipping materials are reused whenever possible.
