"Durdle Door, Dorset" is an original painting of a seascape made with professional quality acrylic, painted on all sides in shades of duck egg blue, soft yellow, deep blue/purple and silver, with the 'glittery' effect sealed within the paint. The painting is signed on the front and strung on the back ready for hanging. Dorset is one of my favourite places in the world and there are always several paintings of Dorset landscapes in my exhibitions, it inspires me so much. Durdle Door is a fabulous place and I was visiting on this occasion when the sun was just starting it's descent, and the light was dancing off the water sending the foreground into darkness. I knew then I wanted to capture this breathtaking scene with another one of my 'glittery' seascapes which I have been doing now for about 16 years!
