This pretty little double-collared sunbird was darting amongst the branches of a George One-color Heath bush in the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens. All sunbirds have such metallic bright colours and make for irresistible inspiration, they love tubular flowers from which they sip nectar.
I have kept this work simple to emphasis the detail in this Dutch Preuss birds' beautiful plumage.

This watercolour and Ink work is painted with Winsor & Newton, and Schmincke watercolour paints an Inks on Arches 140lb CP watercolour paper.

Painting is 6.75 inches square (17 cm x 17 cm )and comes with a white mount, total size being 8 " x8" (20 cm x 20 cm)

Backed with greyboard and cellophane wrapped for presentation.

Certificate of Authenticity signed by myself accompanies each original.

The painting will be carefully flat packaged in a strong cardboard envelope and dispatched promptly
