I am attracted to doors and windows as a subject to paint and this is one of a series of Italian doors I have produced that are for sale here. Once an attractive green painted door, this had the paint peeling off to reveal the weathered dark grey wood underneath in parts. A decorative wrought iron grille above the doorway and the bike completed the picture inviting me to paint it! It is a watercolour painted on Fabriano Artistico, 100% cotton, cold pressed, acid-free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. (The picture is also shown with a frame but this is for illustration purposes only.)
