This piece of work is entitled 'Tug of War & Peace' is about the contrasting conflicts of War between War and Peace, as part of the larger body of work within the 'Disasters of War' series of works. The Dove is a symbolic symbol of Peace, along side the Japanese Crane as detailed in my other works. This image is a fight over the Olive Branch between the upper Dove, colour graded in red & yellow to symbolise the conflicts of Battle War Red, with the contrasting with the lower white/bluish Peace Dove. The two Doves are fighting over an Olive Branch, and Tugging at it, like in the sport event 'Tug of War'. The Olive Branch is another symbol of Peace. The Olive branch spells out the word 'Peace'.
