This piece of Digital Artwork is response to the 70th Anniversary of Victory in Japan (VJ-Day) on the 15th August 2015. Birds, Flowers & Landscapes are relatively popular theme on this site, and within this piece of work I explore contrast within all three with juxtapose of War, as part of the Disasters of War body of work. The work depicts the contrast between the representational and abstract art similar to that of conflict of Wars. The piece of work contains three elements, Birds, Flowers & Landscape. Firstly, The Birds of, The American Eagle, is Symbolic of the American People & Flag, of power, resurrection and bravery, which is about to release a Sphere (similar to the Circle in the Japanese Flag). Resisting this is the Japanese Peace Crane. This explores the conflict between USA & Japan during World War II (1939-1945). Secondly, the Flowers, representing the Red Poppy symbolic of Peace, similarly juxtapose of the White Poppy. A secret massage is contained in the fo
