This painting was inspired by a visit to the Close Park, Radcliffe, near Manchester where there was a stainless steel giant dinosaur sculpture on display in January 2019. The Dinosaur sculpture in the centre pf painting was created by pouring liquid acrylic paint on to the canvas. The background was painted by traditional brushes. The painting can display change of colour when viewed in directional light (not diffused light), due to the use of interference paint and it gives the dinosaur the sculptural qualities. The painting has been varnished to preserve for a long time and it has a hanging string attached.
