A wild and wonderful field of colourful flora lighten up the skies. In the distance sits a white cottage, nestled in the hillside and surrounded by green fields.. The colour in this painting is extreme and vibrant, I use only the very best paints with wonderful pigment which allows the depth of colour that this painting has. The Poppies compete for space with Daisies, Agapanthus and Foxgloves... my favourites! The sky is electric blue and the play with light gives an added sense of drama. I use only top quality acrylics and the painting is sealed with two layers of acrylic varnish to seal and protect the surface.
