Cornishware Jug and Wildflowers is an original acrylic painting on box canvas, measuring 11.75“ x 15.75“ (30 cm x 40 cm). The painting consists of a English Cornishware jug created by “T.G.Green & Co who first produced Cornishware in the 1920s. The distinctive blue and white banded pottery owes its name to an employee who said it reminded them of the blue sky and white-crested waves of Cornwall.” This is a cheerful colourful piece of work has a few meadow flowers and some wildflowers wild cyclamen, ox-eye daisies, forget-me-nots, perenial rye grass, crested dogs tail grass, poppies, mountain everlasting, small scabious and bindweed.
