This is a large unique crystal healing sculpture that has been created to both look amazing and show the connection between nature and the beauty of the crystals formed underground. The dramatic shape of this piece is an old knotty branch of Cornish Oak, from a tree that fell naturally around 11 years ago, is seasoned and resined and thickly covered with moss. Its shape resembles a mountainous landscape and the hillsides are embedded with precious crystals. To celebrate the beauty of the tree, the log has been thickly laced with gold leaf which highlights the natural bark pattern The centrepiece is a stunning large Labradorite sphere, which reflects different colours, shapes and images as you walk around it and the light hits it from different angles. The sphere can be lifted out of a ‘reflecting pool’ which it sits in, so its beauty and energy can be fully appreciated then put easily back into its housing in the artwork. Embedded into the mossy hills of this piece are beautiful crystals of yellow Citrine, brown and gold Pietersite, crystal-clear Fire & Ice and Quartz crystal points. All of these together form a dramatic and mystical scene like a miniature world of crystal and nature together. The beautiful crowning glory of this piece is a large Labradorite sphere. Despite its dark colouring, the sphere contains rainbows of brilliant hues only visible only when the stone is held into the light. In the past this lovely stone was known as a stone for magic, because it was clear that those who used it had access to a range of abilities that seemed almost magical. Perhaps this is partly because the beautiful Labradorite crystal is said to bring you the gifts of serendipity and synchronicity. These two things combined can make amazing things happen in your life.  Yellow Citrine is well known in crystal work as a success and prosperity stone to the point that it is called the ‘Success Stone’. It has energies of good fortune and good luck which may appear in unexpected ways. The beauty and essence of Storm is captured in the Pietersite, which is also know as the Tempest Stone. Its highly charged energy is almost tangible. Pietersite also discharges negative energies and emotional turmoil, cleansing the aura and restoring calm. Fire & Ice quartz crystals are believed to be the homes of travelling light spirits and the beings of higher energy planes such as angels and goddesses. They are used to facilitate communications with spirits and to understand their wisdom and teachings. Its energy is especially beneficial during times of heightened solar activity where these energy downloads are coming fully and intensely into our world. Quartz crystals are used for protection and capturing and changing bad vibrations. Crystal points, when pointed away draw negative energy off the body.

About the Artist

I have been interested in the art of nature forever and in particular the beautiful world of crystals and minerals - natures own art. Having moved to Cornwall from Kent I learned more about the power of crystals mined there and also about their power to heal. I also spent a huge amount of time in...
