A scene in Switzerland in May this year of a tree proudly standing in the midst of a sea of yellow flowering crop of rapeseed, with cereal grasses in the foreground. I've tried to render the colours as they actually were: a bright blue sky with the sun shining between the clouds.
The picture comes sandwiched in an A4 sized mount and backing board, as shown, to fit into a frame of that size, whilst the actual painted image is 19.5 x 14.5 cm. It is a watercolour painted with Winsor Newton paints on hot pressed, acid-free, 300gsm watercolour paper. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The picture is also shown with a frame but this is for illustration purposes only.
